We've just added a new rule type to no.Spam.domino that makes it really easy to add simple, multi-condition rules. The new rule type provides similar functionality to the standard Domino rule that you can create using the Notes client - with a few extras. We've added a simple interface to allow up to 8 conditions to be AND'd or OR'd together and provided a range of fields and data items to check. The interface is shown below - its simple, easy to use and still allows you to add all the usual no.Spam.domino actions and extras to your rules.
You can see from the example that there are a wide range of fields and values available to look at and that some conditions support multiple values right from the rule. That's a fast and easy way to create relatively complex rules. So how much does this new feature cost? Nothing! It's included as a free update to your existing no.Spam.domino database. Just replicate your no.Spam.domino Master database and refresh the design of your working copy and you can begin to use this new rule type immediately. Just choose 'simple multi-condition test' in the 'Base this rule on' part of a new mail rule.
