Web Interface available
nsj administration is now easier with the introduction of the nsj web interface. The web interface provides most common admin functions and configuration options from your favorite browser.

nsj users can update their current nsj package using the update package available here:
new jar file: >

These packages doesn't alter any of your configuration so it can be applied to your existing nsj installation. To install, simply download and unzip both of the packages to your nsj directory. The following entries should be added to your nsj.ini file in the systemConfig section.
httpPort=<PORT>
httpMaxSessions=8
httpMaxSocketTime=10
bindHTTPto=<IPADDRESS>
where <PORT> is the port that you wish the http server to start on, i.e. 8080. Port 80 may already be in use on your system by another HTTP server.
<IPADDRESS> is the IP Address that the HTTP server should bind to. For security reasons this should be an address which is NOT available to the internet.
Once these changes have been made, restart nsj and verify that the HTTP server starts. Direct your browser to
http://IPADDRESS:PORT/index.html
and the nsj overview screen should be displayed.
Please note: The 'User Admin' and 'Statistics' menus are not yet available but will be automatically updated by the normal nsj software update process when ready.
The menu on the left side of the screen is used for navigating.
The chart on the overview screen shows total messages and spam data for the last 24 hours.
For basic system administration tasks, use the' System Admin' menu.
For configuration changes, use the 'Configuration' menu.

Order nsj before December 31 2004 and save an extra 10% on your license costs and be setup in time for the Christmas / New Year Spam flood!
