What is Quarantine Manager?
Quarantine Manager is a product which gives you control over a global message quarantine and helps to give your users more control of their own personal quarantine needs.
As an administrator you can check the messages in the quarantine and safely REVIEW, PURGE or RELEASE them to your users as you like. Quarantine Manager allows you to send ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSES to messages such as Complaints, Non-Delivery Reports or even Error messages. All the responses can be fully customised and you can create any number of messages.
Quarantine Manager provides global black and white lists to automatically purge or release messages based on their sender address, any word in their subject or any word in their body. Yes, that's black and white listing of SUBJECT and BODY words as well as SENDER address! Handy for those newsletters or internal 'robot generated' messages that you don't want to trap and can't control by e-mail address alone.
Quarantine Manager also provides a USER QUARANTINE for your users which they can check via a browser. The user quarantine allows users to:
Purge or release messages
White and blacklist messages by their sender, subject or body contents on a personal level
Safely review a message without risk of launching attachments or other embedded controls
Check the message headers
Mark a message as Spam to help you train your anti-spam filters better
Quarantine Manager will send a MESSAGE DIGEST mail to your users periodically informing them what is in their quarantine. Users can perform some operations right from the digest mail like Release, Purge, Whitelist or Blacklist sender. Users can set their quarantine to automatically purge document after a certain time so they can release what they need and forget about the rest.
Quarantine Manager will give you control of this vital aspect of electronic messaging whilst simultaneously giving back some of the control (and administration overhead) to your users.
Quarantine Manager works on Domino r5 and r6 and with any anti-spam, anti-virus or third party product which can move messages to a specific database.
