Checking for Invalid Recipients

We're adding another tool to your no.Spam.domino anti-Spam arsenal. no.Spam.domino can now check to see if recipients in an inbound message exists in your Name and Address book.

Domino r6 already has a similar feature but you can only reject a message, nothing more. no.Spam.domino allows you to take any supported action on the message such as moving the message to a different database, tagging the subject line or increasing the message 'spam score'.

Now it's easy to flag messages which may be sent to invalid or old e-mail addresses. At drcc.com we use this rule to capture messages sent to faked recipients like john.doe@drcc.com. Spammers often send mail to a large list of addresses at your domain name in order to discover real addresses.

Fight back and see who is abusing your mail system!

If you would like more information on this new rule and a practical example of how to use it, see the documentation here.
