DRCC is pleased to announce the availability of dcShield - a
free
anti-Spam add-in task for Domino servers.
dcShield provides multi-function mail rules, whitelist and blacklist support for sender address, subject text and body text as well as a set of highly accurate DRCC Blok scans, as used in no.Spam.java. Support for realtime DNS blacklist and whitelists is provided to leverage Domino's existing RDNS support. Apart from whitelisting your often used contacts there's hardly any administration needed with dcShield. The DRCC Blok scanning engine is kept up to date automatically and provides excellent spam catch rates with virtually no false positives.
dcShield installs on any supported Domino platform in about 10 minutes and offers simple configuration via Notes database which can be easily accessed by any administrator.
dcShield is upgradable to an Enhanced and Pro edition - each of which offer more features including a message Quarantine service in the Pro version which users can manage from their Notes client. The Enhanced and Pro editions are a subscription based services with licensing on a per server basis. The basic edition of dcShield is free.
